Sr. MOCVD Equipment Engineer

Overview:
II-VI EpiWorks is seeking a Senior MOCVD Engineer who will oversee the engineering aspects of the MOCVD production equipment platform under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The Senior Engineer will supervise an engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving the productivity of the manufacturing processes and equipment. This position requires advanced knowledge of compound semiconductor processes and excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. The candidate should have proven his or her abilities in production control and project management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the manufacturing team responsible for MOCVD equipment
  • Responsible for manufacturing equipment performance metrics and certain plant productivity requirements
  • Work closely with equipment suppliers and OEMs to improve MOCVD technology platform
  • Support and document production action plans and FMEA
  • Report KPI’s for equipment uptime, cycle time and throughput

Commercial Electrician

Overview:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, motors, electrical control systems and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.

Commercial HVAC Technician

Overview:

This role will with all aspect of heating, ventilation and a/c systems including boilers and chillers, duct work, etc.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains existing HVAC systems including chilling and heating systems and checks chemical treatments.
  • Installs and replaces all types of heating, ventilation, cooling units, pumps, refrigeration equipment, pneumatic valves, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, vacuum systems and air distribution equipment according to prints, specifications, diagrams, or other instructions.

Shipping and Receiving Technician(Tuesday-Saturday Position)

Overview:

II-VI EpiWorks is seeking to fill a position responsible for shipping and receiving of materials for its semiconductor manufacturing operations.  This position supports sales, shipping, receiving, engineering, and manufacturing operations within the company’s ISO 9001:2015 quality system.  Responsible for coordinating documentation and data for products, the position provides critical checks for all incoming and outgoing shipments.  An educational background in computer science or business systems along with strong analytical and data processing skills is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enter Sales Orders, and track subsequent changes to quotations, customer orders, and sales orders in the business system including the generation of packing lists, shipping labels and packaging product for shipment.
  • Responsible for shipping and receiving including generation of certificates of conformance (C of C) for outbound shipments, and interpretation of  inbound C of C for direct materials
  • Familiarity with business systems and database systems (preferably SQL) including queries, reports and search functions.
  • Control the inventory of raw materials, finished goods, by physically stocking the material and entering transactions in the business system.

Senior Facilities & Maintenance Engineer

Overview:
II-VI EpiWorks is seeking to fill a senior facilities maintenance role to support its semiconductor
manufacturing environment under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This position will
be responsible for the electrical and HVAC equipment in a 24×7 production operation. This position
requires occasional off-hours support for the maintenance of mission critical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair facility and electrical equipment including boilers, HVAC, pumps, chillers, compressors, gas lines, vacuum systems, and other similar equipment and systems
  • Supervise contractors on-site as well as temporary & part-time employees

MOCVD Production Engineer

Overview:

II-VI EpiWorks is seeking an MOCVD Engineer to support its 24×7 semiconductor manufacturing operations.  This position supports the MOCVD production within the company’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality system.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead production and maintenance activities in an ISO Class 6 clean room environment
  • Lead troubleshooting and repair activities of assigned MOCVD equipment
  • Track and analyze causes of equipment downtime to improve manufacturing processes
  • Identify and relieve bottlenecks in production to increase uptime, cycle time and throughput of MOCVD manufacturing equipment
  • Perform FMEA studies and author and maintain corrective action plans

MIS Manager

Overview:

The MIS Manager role is a hands-on technical role that also develops a solid understanding of II-VI EpiWork’s technical, management and production business functions to evaluate projects, determine return on investment and make recommendations to ensure that appropriate technology or services are developed to meet the Company’s needs.  Operates within the II-VI corporate structure.

Primary Responsibilities:

Overview:

II-VI EpiWorks is seeking experienced developers to write custom software for data analysis and storage, as well as being part of an SAP integration plan.  They will develop custom bridges between facility/production data and the SAP system post integration. Ideal candidates must be fluent in VB.net 2013 or higher, with strong skills in C# and SQL Server technologies.  Strong capabilities with all three primary MS technologies: Web, WPF, and Windows Forms is also a must. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain custom applications, reports, and queries using VB.net, C#.Net, and SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher, primarily for handling data files and inputs from varying production tools and personnel
  • Upgrade custom applications from legacy code to newer technologies

Electronics Technician

Technical Project Manager

Overview:

II-VI EpiWorks is seeking an experienced staff member responsible for coordinating the execution of complex product development programs.  He/she is responsible for compiling and tracking the product development schedule process in the context of product requirements and specifications, managing the communication of a large cross-functional team, and managing risks associated with product delivery.  He/she will coordinate the efforts of the EpiWorks engineering and manufacturing teams as well as interaction with other key business units within II-VI.
This role serves as the primary communication liaison, and as such, must understand requirements, expectations, and risk areas for all parties to help expedite delivery against customer requirements. He/she also creates and owns development schedules and timelines in conjunction with project leaders, helps identify resource needs, and creates and controls detailed budgets for each phase in the development process.

Facilities Maintenance Technician

Overview:

II-VI EpiWorks is seeking to fill a facilities maintenance role to support its 24×7 semiconductor cleanroom manufacturing environment under the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This position will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on facility, building and surrounding grounds.  This position requires off-hours support for the repair of mission critical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair facility and related equipment including boilers, HVAC, pumps, chillers, compressors, gas lines, vacuum systems, and other similar equipment and systems
  • Install and test new facility equipment and systems
  • Generate preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Fill out and maintain all required logs and records of maintenance activities
  • Promote a safe work environment throughout the facility and during all maintenance work
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Ensure all repairs and installations are done in accordance will all applicable codes and regulations
