Position: Epitaxy Engineer - Optical Materials and
Hours: Full time

Description:
EpiWorks is seeking experienced MOCVD Engineers who will be responsible for implementing epitaxial layer designs for existing and next-generation GaAs-based solar cells and laser diode products. The position will include optimizing processes to reduce cycle time and improve yield, develop new processes to meet customer specifications, and interact with customers. The ideal candidate for this position will also be able to trouble-shoot existing products, document and transfer processes to production and support processes once in production. The focus is the growth of optical devices with primary background on GaAs-based devices, including solar cells, edge emitters and VCSELs.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: B.S. or M.S. in ECE or Materials Science
Experience/knowledge of epitaxial growth processes particularly applicable for III-V compound semiconductors and electronic devices
Proven ability to multitask/manage multiple projects
