II-VI EpiWorks is a global leader in III-V epitaxial wafer development and production. Our semiconductor technology enables industry leading performance in key photonic and RF components for consumer, communications, datacenter, network, wireless and mobile applications. The II-VI EpiWorks Internship program has been established to create a platform for electrical engineering and materials science students to be trained in the semiconductor field and other relevant MOCVD foundry technologies. Each student is given an individually tailored Training Plan and will be involved in one of our internal projects in order to provide the student with hands-on experience.

The following information must be submitted along with your essay and this completed, signed application:

  • Proof that you are enrolled in a major in an engineering course of study for the upcoming semester. A copy of pre-registration will be accepted.

I hereby attest that the information provided in this application is truthful and, to the best of my ability, I have met the requirements of the II-VI EpiWorks Internship Application as set forth above. I give II-VI EpiWorks permission to contact my course instructors, guidance counselors, school administrators and work supervisors to discuss this application.

I hereby attest that during the past twelve (12) months I have no record of disciplinary or criminal actions taken against me, either at school or in the community.

I hereby attest that I am lawfully present in the United States and that I am legally authorized to work in the United States.  Upon request, I will provide appropriate documentation of my legal status to the II-VI EpiWorks.

The II-VI EpiWorks Internship Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any application for any reason. I understand that the decision of the II-VI Internship Selection Committee is final and cannot be appealed or changed.

II-VI EpiWorks may utilize an applicant’s name, address, and name of the educational institution that the applicant currently attends. I understand that by signing this Internship Application, I give II-VI EpiWorks permission to use and disclose this information for promotional purposes.
